Training

We have been training horses for close to 30 years.

We gentle break trying never to allow the baby to buck the first time. This prevents the learning of “how to” buck. So our theory is if something happens later in life they still won’t know how to buck so reducing the chance of hitting the ground.

Our specialty is training easy to ride barrel horses but we also train pleasure type horses. We also suggest the rider to work as close as possible with us to develop the perfect working team.

Lessons

One on one instruction is available upon request.

We strive to improve horsemanship and convenience to unite the horse and rider through understanding. This is accomplished through reading the horse the same as we would read people.

If a training problem with your horse exists, working with the horse first is necessary before teaching the rider to deal with the problem.

After all, the ultimate goal is for horse and rider to work as a team.
